So, I've been sneakily moonlighting, well, doing my day job really. The Digit blog is finally live! Well as much as the country is aware there was a little dusting of snow on Sunday night. London got a fair dumping and it fell on it's knees Bambi-Style. The buses were all cancelled for the first time since the Blitz! Wowsers. Anyway, we're very busy at work so I diligently walked the 5 km, what a hero, thought I'd share those titbits.

New Digit website

Hurrah! The new Digit website is up and running, we've had a brand overhaul, introducing the Digit D, it'll be cropping up quite a lot.

Featured above is the National Gallery Grand Tour, this project was my baby, under the brilliant art direction of Andrew Dean, it even picked up a D&AD Black Pencil last year. My illustrations were used in the site, print, adverts and merchandise.

My role has grown recently at Digit so some of my copy writing skills make a small appearance here too.

We wish you a chutney Christmas

Mmmm, simple, human, interaction.

Elly and Claire launched the inaugural Digit Chutney Christmas Lunch today with their homemade chutneys compleat with their own product branding. In summary we are now suffering a cheese coma, Elly's chutney was more spicy and Claire's was more tomatoey, both equally yummy.

Old doodles and projects

Since I can't post any of the pitch illustrations and designs I've been working on I thought I'd dig out some old Digit doodles that ended up shaping the projects. Amazingly both projects are still live.

Star trek comes to Digit

The Friday feeling struck us last week as I realised a few of us had inadvertently come to work in Star Trek garb. I printed off a few badges and hey presto, geek fancy dress, my dad would be proud though.

I was playing around with the lovely Digit camera today, thought I'd share some love. Happy Thursday!

Make ideas happen.

I had a lovely present sitting on my desk when I returned to work this week, some fetching Behance stationary, an Action Book and an Action Runner no less! (Thank you Digit).

Behance is a free platform for the world's leading creative professionals; they also make stationary designed by and for creative professionals, which help you harness the many ideas that may otherwise disappear into the creative ether.

If you have a little time, read more about The Action Method it's simple, makes sense and they make beautifully designed gear to boot.

The image above shows the left hand side is for prep/focus and notations, the coloured checklist are your action steps, the lower right-hand corner is your backburner for all those great but totally irrelevant ideas that can otherwise clutter your mind and make you lose focus. There's also a lovely dotted grid overleaf that is great to doodle on.

Another day another excuse to bake a cake

This is a farewell cake to Pablo and Johan, both leaving Digit towers for pastures new after nearly 6 years service between them. They will both be missed.
